Pedals for Progress is a non-profit organization whose mission is “To supply economic development aid by recycling bicycles and sewing machines in the U.S. and shipping them to the people of the developing world.”
Pedals for Progress had the most successful bike drive ever!
WCHFH contributed sixty bikes and thirty-four sewing machines out of the 141 bikes, 39 sewing machines collected during its recent donation cycle. The bikes and sewing machines will be shipped to Vietnam this week where they will improve educational, employment and healthcare opportunities.
