Mandala Making for Adults | Warren County Habitat for Humanity

Mandala Making for Adults

Come enjoy the process of creating your own mandala, an Eastern circular design used for meditation and self awareness. Anavadya will lead everyone through a simple process that anyone can do, with or without art experience. It’s a great practice for focusing the mind to relieve stress, where you can shift away from distracting thoughts to be more present. The stronger the focus, the more inner peace will be felt.

Some mandala history plus meditative/ intuitive approaches will be introduced, along with techniques using line, shape, value shading, and color harmony. We will use pencils, colored pencils, markers and gel pens on white paper. No art experience is necessary.

“Each person’s life is like a mandala – a vast, limitless circle…”
